"Bon Sauvage surprend par sa fraicheur et sa juvénilité. Mais c’est une bonne surprise : Ned s’éloigne toujours un peu plus des animaleries skingraftiennes sans pour autant les oublier totalement, maîtrise le groove d’une rythmique souvent résolument dansante, aiguise et affine ses mélodies, soigne ses lignes de chant et déborde d’idées à la minute. Bon Sauvage pourrait ainsi être une sorte de « Best Of Ned » – des hits, des tubes et même un slow (perverti, bien sûr) en fin de disque mais pas un slow pour faire rire, sorte de clin d’œil à je ne sais quelle ringardise et à ses pratiques douteuses, non, au contraire, une vraie chanson, émouvante, crue et sensible, et de loin le meilleur titre de cet album."
